About Valerie:
I have been a “highly qualified, level 2” teacher in the Utah schools and have had previous teaching in the California school systems. I have had experience teaching a wide variety of subjects including 12 years in the English and Language Arts Departments. While I have had much experience leading a classroom, my favorite part of teaching has always been interacting with the students. No matter the subject I love presenting concepts and watching student’s eyes light up as they recognize new ideas and how they personally apply in their lives. I have also enjoyed teaching in an on-line environment and learned to connect with students in this way.
