Dance Teacher – Full Time
(Full Time w/ Utah Retirement System + Health/Benefits)
Utah Arts Academy invites applications for a full-time dance educator to begin August 2022. Primary responsibilities include teaching all levels of modern/contemporary dance, improvisation and composition, jazz and/or hip-hop dance forms. Additional responsibilities will include creating choreography for festivals, concerts and other events as part of the UAA production schedule. Successful candidates will have the ability to work with a wide range of arts educators in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment. Qualifications for employment include: BA, BFA or MFA in dance or dance education with a Utah Educator License, or equivalent. Unlicensed degree holders will be considered contingent on acceptance into the Utah Alternate Route to Licensure program or equivalent USBE program.
