About Jacy:

Jacy Barney, trained at Triple Threat Performing Arts in Livermore CA and is versatile in all styles of dance including tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, and gymnastics. Jacy spent 3 years as the head coach of the Power Dancers at the University of Texas at Dallas and taught for Triple Motion Dance for 6 years. She is the former director of Tap at Cutting Edge Dance Center in Pomona CA and was the head coach of the Edison High School Pom Team in Huntington Beach CA. She is certified by United Spirit Association in Dance Technique and travels with numerous dance competitions as a national adjudicator. Jacy joined the Kar Australia Team where she judged competitions, taught at studios and choreographed for cheer teams of the National Rugby League.

Jacy is a three-year veteran of the Los Angeles Clippers dance team, she was awarded hardest working member on the team as well as asked to represent the NBA overseas performing in Taiwan, Beijing, and Urumqi. She danced for the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue dance team, as the first and only co-ed hip hop team in the NFL. She spent one season cheering for the Anaheim Arsenal basketball team and performed in Las Vegas representing alumni pro cheerleaders during the Super Bowl.

Jacy was chosen to represent the United States in Barcelona Spain winning world titles as a member of the American dance company and choreographs for many competitive dance studios winning numerous top overall awards as well as creativity and choreography recognition. She won two college dance team titles which aired on ESPN and has coached at the Anaheim Angels Stadium for the NCIF championships, and was head coach of the Edison High School song team in Huntington Beach, CA.

Jacy was crowned national “Miss Dance USA” and was awarded dance spirit magazine’s “future star of the year award.” She assisted at company dance conventions with Brian Friedman, Gregg Russell, Barry Youngblood, and Tycediorio. She works for Kar and Rainbow Dance competitions and was the tap teacher for Kar Dance Convention. Jacy signed with MSA agency in hollywood.
