I desire to see the piano program at UAA reach the heights of places like Interlochen Arts Academy and LA County High School for the Arts.

About Brandon:

Brandon Lee is an award-winning concert pianist, pedagogue, studio and pit orchestra musician with over 32 years of performance and professional experience. He has performed in venues and with symphony orchestras across the western United States, and has worked in ensemble settings as a much sought after collaborative pianist, working with artists such as Broadway star Audra McDonald, Progressive Rap artist Christylez Bacon, and the band Kansas. He holds a Masters degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, and has also been a featured masterclass and workshop clinician and continues to further broaden his skill and knowledge in the realm of music and music technology.  He has previously been on the faculties of both Utah State University and Utah Tech University before taking the helm as director of piano studies at Utah Arts Academy.  Through the years, his students have been featured soloists with orchestras and have won top prizes at many regional and state competitions. He is a member of Music Teachers National Association, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Southwest Symphony.

What continues to bring me in every morning is knowing that every student who walks through the doors is here because they WANT to be here. Every student I work with shows me their desire to learn and improve upon their skills.  It keeps me constantly seeking to grow as well so I can in turn help guide their individual creation into better musicians, citizens, human beings.
